About Me

I am a licensed professional counselor, specifically trained to provide you compassion with a variety of counseling techniques aimed at getting you in touch with your hopes, fears, and dreams. No two clients are exactly alike, so my efforts on your behalf will be customized to your personality and your needs. My approach to counseling is based in my biblical perspective on life in the world. But I’ve treated clients from all over the faith spectrum. I practice with cultural and ethnic sensitivity, and my clients come from all walks of life. My practice is particularly suited to men and older adolescents struggling with sexually addictive behaviors, relational struggles, traumatic stress, abuse, and identity issues. I am equipped to help you work through depression, anxiety, and your questions regarding sexuality and spirituality.

My credentials include a Masters degree in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary; Missouri state licensure as an LPC; U.S. accreditation as an National Certified Counselor, and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. Formerly, I served as an officer in the U.S. Army, worked in private industry, and later joined the Foreign Service as a federal law enforcement officer with the U.S. State Department, working domestically and abroad. It is my privilege to bring what I’ve experienced on the job and off to our work together on your story. I have seen first hand the role stress and trauma play in the lives of men who carry tremendous burdens of responsibility. So, no matter what you do or who you are, we’ll find you renewed hope.
